Yoga & Self-Exploration

Why do we find ourselves investing in a yoga practice? No need for words to answer the question: our bodies tell upfront that beyond stretching and strengthening yoga also creates a mental inner shift which can expand our worldview.

Already in the early part of the 20th century, C.G.Jung, the great explorer of depth psychology, upon studying eastern philosophies, came to advocate yoga as a powerful gateway to healing disruptions between body, mind, and spirit. For Jung, these disruptions were caused by western society’s modern lifestyle. The unprecedented upsurge of yoga studios in the West since then tends to prove his findings right.

This talk will discuss what yoga can do, to not only alleviate the stress and anxiety our ever increasing fast-paced lifestyle creates,  but also support and restore the inner harmony, self care and well being necessary for a mature and resilient personality.

Open to all levels.
