About Mariana MOURA
About me
I was always a very creative and active child, my mother always told me: “Mariana, you should do yoga!” but I never listened to her. Throughout my life, I studied fashion and communication; my passion was expressing myself through clothes and my attitude. For many years, I worked and dreamed of being a stylist. Yoga came into my life by chance. At the perfect moment, on the right occasion. I was born in the middle of the jungle, a huge city located in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest called Manaus. I grew up in Barcelona and became the woman I am now. Passionate about what I do, learning every day to be the best version of myself, sharing what I love, surrounded by wonderful people. I am passionate about vegan cuisine, and I combine yoga with food.
My work
I have been fortunate to work at the best Navakarana studio in Europe, Ma·na Yoga Loft, under the guidance of my mentor Alessandra Oram during 2024. In my career, I have led workshops and masterclasses around Europe and the United Kingdom, where I lived and also taught regular classes. I am trained in 540 hours of both the vinyasa and holistic therapeutic branches of Navakarana Vinyasa. I also teach Breathwork and Kriyas (deep body cleanses), as well as drills conditioning to achieve results in yoga practice. I have been lucky enough to participate in several yoga events and I have done campaigns for clothing brands such as Oysho as well as collaborated with Lululemon. I have organized retreats around Spain, either by myself or together with my studio team. Currently, I am teaching classes in the best studios in Madrid, expanding the Navakarana community, and I will soon be teaching classes in London.
Navakaraṇa vinyāsa is a new, active, and dynamic method guided with mantras, percussion, and Sanskrit counting to fully immerse you in this moving meditation. Navakaraṇa follows the lunar cycle, aligning you with nature. 12 series for you to discover and learn the technique and feel this challenging practice.”
